October 11, 2011

As of today I only have 250 Veteran's Day cards to send over to the soldiers. 100 of which I have made. I am hoping before the end of the week I get a bunch more in. We have had such an abundance of cards coming in this year so I know we can do better than this to show our support. Won't you all please make a thank you card for our soldiers? Take the time to write them a note? My hopes is to get as many cards to as many soldiers as we can! Please!

Thank you!

Hi Pam, I just received my November CardMaker magazine that features Cards for Soldiers in the Readers Reach Out section. The article mentions you do not need envelopes at this time. From you September comment it appears you did need envelopes. We will be sending some cards for Round 9. Would you like us to send envelopes? Thanks, Mary

Hi Mary! Thanks for letting me know about the Article in CardMaker! I'll have to go out and get the issue! I had no idea when it was going to be published! We do need envelopes desperately as we are having a very hard time getting them donated. I have had a few very dedicated card makers who have been buying envelopes and sending them as well which has been a huge help but we definitely need all we can get. Thank you so much for asking! Pam

Pam,
I am so sorry I was not able to send you a packet of cards for the Veterans Day deadline. As you know the fall/veterans day/christmas deadlines are all so close together and of course, it's also at a time of year when everyone is so busy with activities.

I hope to send a big box of Christmas cards (with envelopes) by november 5th. Thanks so much for all you do.

Hi there. I'm finishing up my cards this weekend and will have them in the mail early next week. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and happy with the batch I'm preparing to send. Thanks for all your efforts!

I am new to this. What are the Veteran's day cards? Just for the military overseas? Are they blank or handmade.
Sorry please explain.
Can it be a postcard saying Thank you?

Thanks
